1.  DO NOT STOP EXERCISING…

Even if you only have 10 to 20 minutes to exercise, this will keep you functional throughout the holidays and less guilty that you did nothing.

2. INCREASE YOUR VEGETABLES…

Try to eat at least two servings of vegetables a day. Soups are a great take and go option when you are in a rush.

3. SLEEP = NO GRUMPY HOLIDAY SELF….

Do not short yourself on sleep, sleep is a restorative process. If you are sleep deprived you are grumpy. When you are sleep deprived it takes three times the amount of effort to get anything done and you make yourself susceptible for immune challenges e.g. catching that nasty holiday cold.

4. REDUCE THAT SWEET CRAVING…

Reduce and avoid sweets (including alcohol). Enjoy the holiday but keep the indulgence to one day rather than the entire season. This helps keep you healthy and manage your weight.
