What are telomeres?

As the cells in your body divide, your chromosomes replicate so that each cell contains a complete set of chromosomes in its nucleus. At the ends of each of your chromosomes are stretches of DNA called telomeres.Telomeres help protect the ends of your chromosomes from damage or fusing with nearby chromosomes.  This protective layer at the end of your chromosomes, helps to extend your life.

How to prevent telomeres from over shortening?

Support your building blocks by eating the right foods and supplement your body with DNA specific nutrients.
