Frequently Asked Questions

Go to “Our Test” and log into your portal to order your test kit or kits; you can send directly to a patient or you can order kits to be sent to your practice or fulfillment center in bulk.

The patient will have instructions in their test kit with a QR code to register the kit; that kit is associated with a barcode that is assigned to your practice.
On the left hand side of your Practitioner account you will see “Kits”, click on Test Kits, and there you can filter by patient to see the genetic kit associated with a particular patient.
Should a patient forget their password they can request a new password through their own individual portal login.  You can go to the left-hand side of your practitioner page under “Users” and update their email should they need a new email.
Go to the Longevity Lab portal and submit a ticket to unregister a kit and add all requested information to the ticket.

Ask the client whether they followed the provided instructions and took a picture of their barcode before mailing the kit. This barcode is essential for manually associating the kit with the correct user account.

  • If the Kit Was Shipped by our Fulfillment center, please check WLP (admin) account > Kits for notes to see who it was sent to.
  • If the Kit Was Not Shipped by our Fulfillment center, check internal records, spreadsheets, or shipping logs maintained by the provider or organization.

We are testing the entire genome, human performance genetics. Once the lab received the sample, it takes approximately 3 weeks to get all the results back.

On your practitioner account, navigate to Clients tab, then find the client that you want to export the raw data for, click on the three dots and click “Export Gene Data”. Once complete, you can Download Gene SNPs.
On your practitioner portal interface on the left-hand side click on Lab Data.  Fill out below the appropriate information.  It will take 24-48 hours for that data upload to populate.

The system allows you to generate reports at any time. However, if you accidentally generate a report for a kit that hasn’t yet been completed or had data processed, you may see a placeholder message:

“The data for this report is not yet available.
If you believe this is in error, then please contact support”

To Resolve

  1. Wait for Data Processing: Once the kit data is fully processed, the report can be updated to display the complete information. You don’t need to generate a new report; instead, you can refresh the existing report once the data becomes available.
  2. Updating the Report:
  • As soon as the data is processed, return to the report and select the “Update Report” option. This will populate the report with the newly available information.
  • Alternatively, if you’re not sure when the data will be ready, our system will send a notification once the processing is complete. At that point, you can revisit the report and update it to view the data.
On your practitioner portal interface on the left-hand side click on Clients.  Select the three dots on any one of the users listed.  The option will be to “remove client”.
Go to the Longevity Lab portal and submit a ticket to delete or restore an account, and make sure to include all requested information to the ticket.
On your practitioner portal interface on the left-hand side click on Reports.  In the top right hand corner select the User.  From that User profile you can select whichever report you want to generate.
Your provider account is populated with reports you want to provide to your patients.  If you want to order additional reports that are in your provider account, then select the report for that user you want to generate.

Epigenetic Age

Epigenetic age measures how fast your body is actually aging on a cellular level, which may be younger or older than your chronological age. It’s calculated by looking at DNA methylation patterns—tiny chemical changes that influence how your genes are expressed over time.

Testing your epigenetic age is important because it provides a powerful snapshot of your true biological aging process. It can reveal whether lifestyle choices, stress, diet, sleep, toxins, or chronic inflammation are accelerating aging—and whether your current health strategies are effectively slowing it down.

Gut Testing

Your gut is more than just digestion—it’s central to your overall health. The gut microbiome influences nutrient absorption, immune function, inflammation, energy levels, mood, and even hormone balance. When the gut is out of balance, it can contribute to digestive issues, fatigue, skin problems, food sensitivities, autoimmunity, and chronic disease.

Gut testing identifies imbalances, hidden infections, inflammation, and microbiome diversity, giving you a clear picture of how your digestive health impacts your whole body. With this knowledge, you can make targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes that strengthen immunity, improve energy, reduce inflammation, and support long-term wellness.

Hormone Testing

Hormones act as the body’s chemical messengers, regulating energy, sleep, mood, metabolism, muscle strength, bone density, and even how we age. When hormones are out of balance, it can lead to fatigue, weight changes, brain fog, low libido, poor recovery, or increased risk of chronic disease.

Hormone testing helps uncover these imbalances so you can take targeted steps—through lifestyle, nutrition, or medical support—to restore balance, improve performance, and protect long-term health.

Laboratory Testing

Laboratory testing, in particular blood work shows what your day-to-day impact is on your genes.  Just because you have a genetic variant doesn’t mean it is getting expressed; we call this epigenetic changes and laboratory testing is the best means to figure this out.  Laboratory testing helps guide your genetic panel towards actionable lifestyle changes.

This lab testing is for those of you who have not had blood work taken in a while or have had a less than comprehensive panel taken.  If you want to use your insurance to cover your blood work, ask for at least a one-time consultation with Longevity Lab Subscription. If you know your blood work is not covered, this is the best discount alternative to get tested.
